Um. haha. I don't know the category! xD

This is the poster project I had to do in the workshop in charleston. We had to do this and a CD cover project in... oh 6 hours. The poster was either supposed to be any band (lol or song) or basically about going green. and that theme annoys me when I'm forced to do it. so. i did "Mad World" for both my poster and CD cover. the CD cover had to be completely traditional and was really supposed to only use one picture but mine was odd and done quickly. meh. I like the poster, though. It just printed dark so... that was sad. They didn't print it on glossy paper...

So I didn't win anything with this. four people in my group did. lol. I so did not follow the going green theme. xD

anyway.
how this was made:
it was made in photoshop cs3 using three pictures: the clock, mars, and the rubble at the bottom. the clock was actually a picture at a museum that I had to mess with and mars was pretty easy to make work. the rubble... was alright. I dunno. lol what do ya think? ^^

why I did certain things:
well mars was cool to show the mad world as well as the rubble. Also, the clock and the statue go back to where the song came from: Donnie Darko which has a lot of timetravel themes and I thought this represented it well. It has a dark theme to show how dark the song really was and is...
